I attended my own funeral!

Yesterday I attended my own funeral! ⚰️😲❤️

Spoiler: I am alive and in great health, thanks! 🙏🙂

It’s a shame that we often only come together to say the most beautiful things about someone we love… right after they’ve died 😢
Sometimes after postponing visits, despite their poor health… due to our “busy schedules” 🤦😢

So yesterday was a huge privilege: to be alive, healthy and able to bring together so many special people 🥰 under the joyful excuse of launching the Impact Negotiations Toolkit 🎉
It was a fun session on one of the most significant parts of my life over the last 16 years: negotiating for positive world impact 🌍

Relatives, friends, and colleagues from so many of my different “worlds”:
• My closest family (just missing Mom, who was there in other ways 💕) and dear cousins 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
• Friends and colleagues from Timor-Leste – the biggest group! 🇹🇱
• Friends for ~30 years from Associação Juvenil de Ciência and Modern Pentathlon
• Friends from my Instituto Superior Técnico Physics Engineering undergrad, from my first job at McKinsey & Company, from the INSEAD MBA
• Like-minded impact entrepreneurs from IES-Social Business School, Girl MOVE Academy, Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics
• Other friends from all corners of life and most stages of life 🥰

Many dear ones couldn’t be there – but that also happens at funerals 😊
Some sent virtual flowers or hearts, others good vibes from across the globe 💐❤️🌍
